Mike Mullins - CommissionerMichael Mullins, a former entrepreneur and executive; Mike also serves on the Captiva Community Panel, was a CCA governor for eight years and remains active in a number of civic and philanthropic groups including his long standing board membership on the Eye Bank for Sight Restoration. Mike paid a visit to the CEPD office to educate himself on local beach related issues prior to purchasing a home on Captiva, and has maintained a keen interest in CEPD [was their] activities ever since. Mike is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the dune system on Captiva, and his extensive experimentation with different native species of plants on his own dunes has made him a natural choice to head our ongoing island-wide vegetation program.
