CEPD 2007 Board of Commissioners
The Captiva Erosion Prevention District is governed by an elected board of five Commissioners, each of whom is a qualified elector residing within the District. Commissioners are elected to four year terms and receive no compensation. The Board sets the policies of the District, and employs a District Administrator to carry out day to day operations.

Alison Hagerup – Administrator
Alison Hagerup has been a resident of Sanibel Island for 23 years, and served as the administrator for the Captiva Erosion Prevention District (CEPD) for 20 years. In that time, she has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of three island-wide beach nourishment projects.
Hagerup is a founding member and chairman of the Lee County Coastal Advisory Council, a founding member of the Regional Beach Convocation, a member of the American Coastal Coalition, and is a current board member and past chairman of the Florida Shore and Beach Preservation Association. |
